I have seen quite a few mocks having us take Price

Exciting pick! You can argue RB value, and there were two exceptional values at corner I was hoping we were going, but it's really, really difficult to not see Price being an above average player at worse.
At least we didn't use a top 3 pick on our Notre Dame RB like one of our division mates did.

Really, really good player who just happened to have the #1 RB in college ahead of him. Pretty much consensus #2 guy in the draft, explosive, excellent character. Had a feeling they’d go RB here with K9 walking, besides Love he’s the next best pick.

Can maybe argue he could be taken a bit later but I’m guessing he was their guy and didn’t want to risk it.

There are just no RB options behind him. We had to go here because we couldn’t find a trade partner to move back to early 2nd obviously…. I’m all for it. High character guy with low miles, 4.49 speed, great vision - I don’t think we miss a beat running the football next year… and the dude wears Beastmode’s number. I mean come on.

I'm usually against taking RB in round 1, and that's when they're the starting RB. If the Hawks want to go RB by committee again, fine, but don't use a #1. That's just...gross.

So a smaller Prosise who padded his stats against USC. Awesome.

This was a solid, dependable pick. I don't see him as a home run hitter, but I think he can do the job. A better receiver than K9, but I don't think he has the same explosiveness. Hopefully he can grow into being a decent pass blocker. Not a lot of miles, so that's always a plus for a RB.
