One of the all-time great Seahawks, both as a player and person.
Lockett was everything you would ever want in a football player. Came in, excelled at his job, and didn't create any drama. Players like that don't come around very often.

its crazy to think how he just fell off a cliff in one year. i know its based on the teams he went to but had a good year the last year as a seahawk and now to be retired a season later. will always be one of my favorite players.

I had a Largent Jersey, still have a 12, and Lockett. He was the best possession receiver Seattle ever had. PLUS he could take the top off of defenses with his burst. Not to downplay his ability to return kicks. HE WAS THE MAN.

He was declining before it. Would just fall down after any catch. Crazy seeing that versus his rookie year when he was a good returner.

meh, isaac bruce and torry holt invented that. marvin harrison was famous for it. alot of receivers do it to prolong their career. no sense getting smashed for an extra yard on a 20 yard catch.
