Pre-draft, there were speculations on K9 to the Raiders, which didn't happen.

I don't like it. He's a massive talent and if the OL is anywhere remotely fixed, I think he suddenly explodes into the All-Pro mix. Let's not sell super low.

We are likely to have a decent RB on the outs though. I don't see us keeping four when we're also likely to keep a FB and three QBs. Either McIntosh or Martinez probably don't make it. Personally, I'd see what we could get for Charbs, although I know that wouldn't be as popular.

I want to see him in Kubiak's scheme with an upgraded OL.
Yeah, if Grubb were still here, I'd say let him go to a team that will appropriately utilize him. Now that Kubiak is here, I cross my fingers he can just stay mostly healthy. He's got talent for days, and he's a good teammate, but man, last season skewed my vision, hopefully the new coaches can get him back to rookie form.

My preference is to keep Charbs, MacIntosh, Martinez and K9... but the featured back is Charbs, with Martinez spelling him... and K9 becomes somewhat of an insurance policy and a change-of-pace back with a special package that comes into play when we're driving and snapping the ball on the periphery of the red zone.

I don't agree with that, K9 is in the last year of his contract, if we keep him we should get all we can out of him, I doubt we will give him a vet contract next year.

You don’t trade him now. There is no one who needs him bad enough. It’s after the draft and still months before the season. Is only trade him before the draft or if a team is desperate during the season, and we are out of the playoff hunt. Plus Chicago can pound sand. I’d never help them out.
