Kam is 1 of 1. Emmanwori isn't going to be an enforcer; but he is fast, fluid, and long. He's going cause mental trauma rather than physical.

In the few highlight vids of Emannwori that I've watched he looks like a good tackler and very good coverage guy but I didn't see many big hits going on. His coverage skills look really good. So is he a big hitter or not? Who's watched a lot of this guy?

I don't see the comparison outside of size. I have not heard this comparison and I watch extremely limited film compared to others but He kind of reminds me of Minkah Fitzpatrick. Always around the ball both in space and in the box. Decent coverage skills. I may be way off but the little I've seen of both I've seen the same type of player. Also both were corners converted to Safety.

I forget who it was but one of the analysts on the draft shows compared him to Jeremy Chin. Don't know if that is accurate or not though.

I've seen him compared to Kyle Hamilton, Ravens. Mike M coached Kyle for a couple of seasons before coming to Seattle.

The skillset and talent are undeniable, and he certainly has the potential to be a complete safety. He's just not Kam-lite in current form. They could try to mold him into that, but he doesn't really have the instincts and mentality Kam did entering the league.

If I am being fair and non judgemental, it's the 2nd best pick in the draft. Value wise, Sanders in the 5th was a once in a generation steal.

I think it's always fun to compare draft picks to Seahawks of old. I remember when Kam was drafted, vividly, seeing the random quick highlights ESPN shared, then instantly going to YouTube. Kam was different. I felt it instantly. Not so much to what he actually became, but his enforcement, his bravado on the field couldn't be missed. His stature, his tinted visor, his shoulders that had Bam Bam tatted on each. You couldn't help but feel he was special. Not taking anything away EeemAnnn! (can't wait to yell that), but I don't see him being the enforcer, heavy hitter, because his tape doesn't tell that like Kam's did.

Honestly I'm totally fine if he doesn't hit like Kam but he's in the right position like Kam, and simply makes a solid tackle.
Two of our biggest hitters on the Seahawks were safeties - Easley and Kam. Both had shortened careers due to, at least in part, their ferocious hitting. Consistent coverage and tackling is all I ask.

I’ll go out on a limb and say in the future, we’ll be talking about Emmanwori…and someone will bring up Kam and our response will be ‘Kam was nice but he’s no Emmanwori”.
