Seahawks Post-Draft Roster Needs?

Not sure if this has already been mentioned/dicussed: Now that the 2025 draft is over, which glaring holes do you think the Seahawks still need to address?
Do you feel the front office adequately filled the team’s most urgent needs, or are there still major concerns heading into the season? Which positions or depth areas would you like to see addressed through free agency, trades? Are we still good salary cap wise?

Corner.

This is the biggest position that I was disappointed they didn’t address in the draft or free agency. I’d argue the team only has one quality corner on the team right now.

One each if they can find them.

Plenty of time to add, but Corner for sure. Plenty of solid CB's will be released from other teams. Plus, cap casualties.
I highly doubt they don't add someone before the season.

I tend to agree Jer - but DAMN - I keep hoping Riq will snap out of it and be the Riq we saw early on...... is that a pipe dream?

Or have we given up on the guy?

Thor tore up the Ivy League when he was at Harvard.

Then he transferred to Louisville and didn't make that big of an impact when the competition increased. He is full of traits though.

I could see us winding up with Shaquill Griffin again too. He's probably in the $4-5M range.

UDFA signings CB Zy Alexander, LB Jackson Woodard and DE Jared Ivey, all of whom had 4th round grades, might provide depth on tbose positions. CB Shaq Griffin might be coming back to Seattle as well.
For me the most pressing need for depth would be NT, maybe they'll find someone here once the roster cuts start around the league.

I wonder if Coby can cover? He’s much better aligned than he was…and as we picked up Emmanwori…

That’s a long shot though. Ideally, Riq comes in injury free and gets his crap together.

I think depth on OLis as good as it gets at this point. Any UDFA or vet from the streets is about on par with what Seattle already has.

Depth at CB is iffy but they probably want to see what they have in the new additions first.

LB depth is probably as good as it going to be at this point until there are cuts or maybe a trade available.

I do not think NT is a need or a depth issue because it seems to me the Seahawks already have the players they want in place at NT, three tech and five tech.

Like CB, WR has a lot of new additions and you have to see it play out first before making a call. Especially with a scheme change to see how these players function.

Overall JS fruits and labor of working through the last four drafts has finally paid off with a well stocked roster that is cap friendly. That is why you do not see a lot of holes in the depth chart or starting spots really.

Bigger question remarks remain at starting roles for new players on offense and defense but that will be answered and addressed after this season concludes for the 2026 off season.

Zy Alexander was a good UDFA pickup. He has a good chance to stick.

Emmanwori will be in at corner for nickel and dime packages in MM’s scheme.

Two birds one stone.

Maybe it requires a trade but inside oline is not fixed yet.
