Guessing this means Mike Morris isn't really developing to MM's liking?

Mills is a solid pick. Very aggressive and high motor. Not to mention, productive. I really liked Farmer, especially in the 5th but Mills is very good.

I still haven’t seen what we got in the Cleveland trade

Got their later 5th pick and a 6th I think

Any guess where he was projected before his injury? He was the team captain as well.

I'm sure he's depth. Before him our backups behind Reed and Murphy were Quinton Bohanna and Brandon Pili. And coming off an ACL I don't imagine he'll get much playing time until 2026.

On the other hand, Howell was our 4th QB and probably wouldn't last through training camp. This is chicken salad from chicken s***.

Strong as an ox. His absence really hurt the Irish in the Championship game. He's going to need to sit for a while to rehab his injury though.

Fwiw, Danial Jeremiah, who has a little more cred than most analysts had him as one of his best Day 3 available.

Rylie Mills, Notre Dame DT (ranked 108th overall)
