These are the four players I would be ecstatic coming away with in the first round. Give me any of these guys and I'm a happy camper and sleeping well Thursday night.

I'm only posting what I think are realistic options and even then some would require a trade up. Unlikely given John's round one track record, but at least we have the ammunition to do so.

So without further ado, I present to you my big 4:

1) Tyler Warren
2) Grey Zabel
3) Colston Loveland
4) Tyler Booker

Don't give me "scheme fit" with Booker. He'll be great. Schemes and coaches come and go. Elite players, especially along the O line, are hard AF to find and you hold onto them as long as you can. This is exactly the kind of alpha we need on this team.

I still think things will play out similar to last year and we will go defense with our first pick. But one can dream!

Go Hawks! Cheers!

I wouldn't be surprised of only Zabel is available at 18 out of those 4. But yeah any of those 4 would be solid. Zabel has been skyrocketing up the boards though, so even he could be gone by then o_O.

Given how easy both positions (at least on this team) are to fill in the second round or later, I think JS is going to feel better going BPA than he does most years.

I'm hoping they come out with either Mykel Williams or Derrick Harmon.

I'm really digging Derrick Harmon. With so many people clamoring for Kenneth Grant and his potential -- I actually think they're talking about Derrick Harmon.

Harmon has more juice in the pass rush game. He has played NT before as well. He's more consistent than Grant.

I dig all four dudes.

I would add Derrick Harmon and CBs Jahdae Barron & Will Johnson.

I'm hearing there are some medical concerns with Harmon. One defensive player I would be geeked up about is Jalon Walker. But I don't think he's a realistic option, even with a trade up. That's why I left him off.

There's a lot of players I would be happy with at 18, in no particular order...

Colston Loveland
Tyler Warren
Elijah Arroyo (He or Taylor will not be available at pick #50)
Mason Taylor
Grey Zabel
Kelvin Banks Jr.
Tyler Booker (IDGAF about scheme fit, he will do fine in this scheme, and a leader)
Malaki Starks
Kenneth Grant (If he lives up to his potential he could be unbelievable, are we the team to get it out of him?)
Derrick Harmon
Walter Nolen (Character concerns though)
Armand Membou (Also character concerns)
Matthew Golden
Jihaad Campbell
Jalon Walker

Some won't even reach us most likely, some would be early but won't reach our next pick at 50. Some I'd prefer much more than others but I'd be happy with any of these players at 18.

First round picks I think should be guys that make a difference and can change the direction of a game is why I chose these guys.

But man was I sweating it out when 3 of my 4 guys were off the board and we were still 4 picks away! 😳
