Sol….I received similar responses back in the day when we drafted LJ Collier.

Anyways…I do think Murphy’s career trajectory will be much different.

At least, fingers crossed.

As NT he played again some grown ass men. IIRC the defense still played better with him on the field.
I expect him to have a better season with another year of NFL level strength and conditioning, more scheme familiarity and another training camp under his belt.

I think I saw he had more pressures than Aaron Donald as rookies. Just saying.
If by "more" you mean "less than half". Bustron Murphy had 21 pressures to Donald's 45.

Are you sure you didn't read that Murphy had more than Donald had last season? That's probably correct.

I will keep posting this til it sinks in. overall a better rookie year than the beloved Jalen Carter here. One of the better rookie years in 10 years. and was primarily an NT. it would be nice to start moving him around a bit since he was doubled teamed so much.

I misspoke. It was Pass Rush Win %.

Really, it doesn’t mean a thing. Two different guys.

For one he was out of position. Two, he was double teamed most of the time. Three, his game wasn’t QB pressures/sacks. He’s a run 1st that has plenty of time to develop his pass rush.

Not at all worried, extremely young. I thought he played well and should get better in time.

Analytics be damn. He underwhelmed to me too. Doesn't mean he won't be great but anyone acting like he was a game changer last year is lying to themselves.
