There's a location matter, too. I like cheering on a local(ish) team, in addition to the very cool graphics/colors/mascot. That's why the additions to the uniform several years ago with shout-outs to the 12s and PNW indigenous culture connected many of us even more to the team. Further, don't forget, super bowl rings with allusions to the 12s--that rocks!

I always felt a little lame for being in the rooting for laundry group until
I realized that players are limited time quantities and the SEAHAWKS ARE FOREVER!!!! (I mean I hope that. The demolition of our society could have an effect.)
