Shenault was awful for the Jaguars. If passes were chest height to his hands he caught them, but if they were over his head or below his waist he made little effort to catch them. I was not surprised to see the Jaguars move on from him after 2 seasons, even though he was a high 2nd round pick. I didn't see much of him for the Panthers, but then neither did the Panthers. He's a real long-shot to make the roster.

I like the signing. He is like a RB, with his contact ballance, with run after the catch.

Multiply, Divide, Add, and then Subtract.

It makes perfect sense.

It's called the Order of Operations. Even the little children on the streets know that.
Based on the responses, I'm guessing that some still don't understand the points being made.

In post #10, @JayhawkMike posted the following... My dear aunt sally is tougher than Dee Eskridge and she is just a made up phrase so my kids can remember to do their math in the right order.

"
My dear aunt sally" is a mnemonic, which is a made-up phrase to help remember certain things... in this case, those words are first letters of the mnemonic that represents the first letter of the order of mathematical operations.

"My" represents multiplication. "Dear" represents division. "Aunt" represents addition. And "Sally" represents subtraction.

So, when doing math problems, you first multiply and divide before adding and subtracting.

It's just that simple and harmless. No need to reprimand anyone.

He is considered a draft bust by most . JS is doing what PC would do . Pick up another teams flop . Maybe he makes the cut , but I doubt it . Waste of time . imo

When you have 20+ more guys to fill the roster and you’re only scheduled to draft 7 there is no way signing a guy like this is a waste of time. Even if he doesn’t make the team in the end, he’s a body in camp to evaluate. John will make a lot of moves as we find what we are looking for and that’s not a waste of time.

I think they took him as a possible kick returner.

I doubt he can make the 53-man roster.

I have seen looks like new coolers in dumpsters. I have seen looks like new sleeping bags in dumpsters. I took them. Someone elses trash may have been because the previous owner did not use the item no more and it was necessary for someone else to give it a new home. I have a dozen weed eaters. I will evaluate them for usage soon. Just too many things going on at the moment. So all trash is not trash for all.

You've gotta fill out the bottom of the roster somehow. Shenault effectively puts Dee and Dareke on notice. Shenault has been a useful gadget player in his career. And there might be a kick returner there.

Maybe you can explain then how adding him to our roster which is still 20+ bodies short is a bad thing? There are going to be nearly 40 guys who we will cut come August. Having camp bodies is a part of the process. I’d really like to know how that makes this a “waste of time”
