    Hankins is back

As if the DL wasn't old enough.

    Charles Cross 5th year option

This goes hand and glove with the idea that John and Mike are not necessarily judging the OL guys based on 2024. I thought Cross took a step back last year, but with the coaching and scheming not being up to snuff, it isn't necessarily surprising.

Why Milroe was a GREAT pick!!

Way ahead of you. That's been my reputation on this board for 15 years.

Why Milroe was a GREAT pick!!

Worst case scenario is that they actually try him at QBOTF long-term and it blocks us from taking a real pick at that position in a future draft. That's what I'm worried about. If he can make a genuine difference as a swiss-army player, it's a good use of a third.

    Pick 50: Elijah Arroyo

That scouting report comes from people who have watched him a great deal more than you have, trust me. I do see the slow-off-the-line thing in his tape, and the fact that multiple reports agree on it is pretty telling. That said, there's nothing in the negatives (other than injury) that can't...

    Pick 223: Damien Martinez

Let's enjoy some tape of Martinez not wanting to go down:

    2025 UDFA Signings

Ivey, Woodard, and Alexander are guys who could have gone in Round 4. Great grabs.

Post draft, any more holes in our lineup?

Nobody should be assuming that any of Reed, Demarcus Lawrence, or any of our 2022 class will be here next year. That's... Charles Cross Boye Mafe Tyriq Woolen Kenneth Walker Abraham Lucas Some people may disagree, but none of these guys have jumped off the screen in their overall body of work...

This is the best draft in over 10 years

We could get four or five starters out of this draft even outside of the Day 2 picks.

NFC West Draft Grades per SI

Oh, that's not true at all. Some teams have no idea what they're doing. The NFC West defenses and schemes, though, are fairly well-established.

NFC West Draft Grades per SI

Those other three teams all know who they are schematically, so if they draft a guy, I tend to respect their judgment. That's a lot of hungry rookie talent on defense.

    Not even remotely.

    Pick 35: Nick Emmanwori

And neither Kam nor Sherman were immediate starters themselves, so that's not a huge problem. Then again, they weren't high second-rounders. Emmanwori is going into a well-established defense that knows what it's doing, though, and already has a couple of world-beaters back there. Schematically...

    Pick 35: Nick Emmanwori

I just hate coachability issues, perhaps more than some. You're on track for NFL first-round money and you're gonna be like that? Day 3, bud. Maybe Mike's the right guy for him. I certainly see the upside if he is: Kam Chancellor impact.

    Pick 35: Nick Emmanwori
