    On the contrary, NFL games are decided by the head coaches walking up to a folding table at the 50-yard line and comparing how many draft picks they have next year. Higher count wins the game.

    This draft was more like 2023, or 2014-2015: a couple of blue-chippers at the top and then a whole bunch of ST churn that won't be here after a year. Hope I'm wrong.

    You don't speak for everyone. Sad that nobody has addressed the actual post. I agreed that Murphy has the look of top-tier defensive tackles and the toolbox. No way this pick is going to go bad, barring some four-wheeler situation.

    There was a huge cliff at a lot of positions after about #20. John would have been trading down into a desert. And there's no way Murphy would have lasted past #19.
