I saw Cody get some playing time as KJ's replacement vs the Falcons. And although he really didn't look great, I was happy to see it, as I think KJ's play has been average-poor this year.
Think they are grooming him to replace KJ by the end of year?
I think it's interesting that Penny has been deemed a failure by so many when he has averaged a higher ypc than Carson in both 2018 and 2019. Do I think he was poor value for #1 pick? Yes, has he run efficiently? Also yes
With Diggs' contract number, it only makes sense that they will try to start him at FS.
Mcdougy and Blair short term (until Diggs gets accustomed to defense).
Long term -Diggs FS, Blair SS. A pair with some promise. Perhaps they try McDougald out at Nickel
Horrible D is a bit of an overstatement. We're 14th in total yards allowed at 350/game. Our defense was great under Quinn though, loved him. The question is though, did he make the legends or did they make him?
If you want some real in-depth analysis from guys who know what they're talking about, do yourself a service and listen to Seattle Overload on Sound Cloud.
They do a very good job of breaking down the most recent game, as well as the upcoming game. Almost 2 hours worth of gold
The defense (aside from the poor tackling) did not play badly.
The Saints scored 14 points due to S\T and Carson's fumble, and had good field position the majority of the time.
Whether it's Pete, or others in the organization, you're right. It seems that we have a knack for getting the good out of players that other teams could not

The Seahawks were supposedly very interested in him pre-draft.
Although his combine and interviews plummeted his stock, he does have talent and was projected as a 1st round pick based on his film.
I wouldn't mind picking him up and seeing...
