    Top Tier QBs…”Pass” on Seattle?

That's about right. Over his career, Russ is squarely middle of the pack and usually lower. Best he's ever finished is maybe 8... once and 11th once or twice ( going off of memory). On average, he's between 14 and 21. Of the established, top tier, franchise qbs, he's the only one to not finish...

    Top Tier QBs…”Pass” on Seattle?

He did. I don't disagree. Used PC and JS together, because they're compadres.. And we are on the same page. My point was that two of the greatest to ever weren't afforded the luxury of feeling ok about their FO bringing in their successor. And to John63's point, Had they actually packaged a...

DO YOU TRUST PETE AND JOHN WITH THIS DRAFT?

We have 14 good to great additions since 2019. 2 pending injury returns, but there's no reason to believe Brown and Blair won't be back. The 2020 draft, as Hoxrox mentioned above, looks like it's going to be a hit at all but one pick.

DO YOU TRUST PETE AND JOHN WITH THIS DRAFT?

Don't bother reasoning. When you can't see reason because of a hyper biased perspective, the truth literally has to smack you in the face for you to see it. And even then, there's the tendency to try to explain it away for the sake of clinging to illusions. For example: so as not to provide...

    Top Tier QBs…”Pass” on Seattle?

Right, because all the same folks who drafted those first 16 qbs are drafting for us now. John and Pete don't have to worry about ruffling Russ's feathers anymore. We'll be fine. Imagine if GB hadn't picked Rodgers because they thought Favre couldn't handle the pressure. Or if Bill Walsh...

    Top Tier QBs…”Pass” on Seattle?

So you do have to factor in Russ being off for a couple of games after he came back, but that sure isn't as big a difference as I thought it might be. If anything it's evidence of what a qb who rarely pushes the ball downfield can produce stats wise. I'd hardly consider Teddy talented in terms...

Seahawks QB1 (34th best qb in the league???)

As to the qb situation.. neither player has ever had a supporting cast on both sides of the ball like the one they have here. That's a fact. Lock won 5 games with a dead head coaching staff and mediocre roster. Geno won 8 games his rookie year, again, with a NY Jets roster. And let's not forget...

Seahawks QB1 (34th best qb in the league???)

Who exactly is the arbiter of whether optimism or pessimism is blind? Seems any reasonable discussion or even evidence that we might actually be good this year rather than awful, is before it even begins, rooted in a biased opinion of Russ, and by proxy, a biased opinion of our coach, FO and...

    Sherm compares Brady and Wilson

The big question about the 2nd year if he does struggle the way he has to date, is how the contract talks come into play. It's hard to picture Russ taking something less than top money, unless the contract is loaded with insentives.

    Top Tier QBs…”Pass” on Seattle?

Because you appreciate what Pete is doing doesn't mean you do so blindly. My comment was in reference to you asking whether Lock was getting first team reps. He obviously has been. Just comes across as a snide comment made by a fan of a player, rather than a franchise. Don't question your...

Abraham Lucas or Jake Curhan, who has edge in Right Tackle competition?

Agree. And with a lefty at QB, our RT is the most valuable chip on the line, not the LT. Whoevers over there needs to be solid, and not learning on the job.

QBs Geno, Lock look uneven, struggling

. The one thing Russ has never been able to do well is the one thing he'd have to do to beat us. Our D has been one of the best in the league at not surrendering big plays and forcing offenses to methodically dink and dunk. Even last year, we kept a lid on the big plays. That's all Russ is...
