Oh ok. But he hasn't actually done anything. Just worried that someday he might?
I mean I get having that in the back of our minds, but it seems pretty light doesn't it?
Guys don't always drop out of round 1 because they aren't round 1 quality
There can be a run on Tackles, for example, which push a player at a different position.....regarded to be a 20's value to the 30's for example
So yes, what I said in fact could (and often is) correct
I've scoured the internet and found nothing of the sort
I am sure I am just missing it, but could you be specific as to what the concerns are with his character?
You've posted this. A lot.
You might be right.
He has the things that can't be taught: incredible athleticism and an NFL arm
His struggles are all teachable things in theory. It's not fair to say nobody has ever got the NFL and improved their passing skills. If he can elevate to a decent NFL...
You never know
But his athleticism I'm sure was intriguing to other teams as well
Considering he was floated as a sleeper late first round in a few mocks, I am ok with them taking the risk and nabbing him when they did
We’ve all seen him play.
Bama’s on TV every week
Some of what you say has merit. And some of it is hyperbole
He’s not polished, but he isn’t unfixable either
The FCS snipe for one. He was pretty universally seen as a top 10-20 pick at a position of HUGE need.
Ever since the Geno/Bradford thing went down you haven't been the same. Lots of negativity. Just looking out for you brother (y)
Other teams probably haven't knee-jerked their feelings about Howell like we have here at .Net over his one appearance last year
He probably has the exact same value (to the NFL) that he did last Spring. Seen as a back up that has some experience and a tad bit of upside
