    Far better in '08 and '09 then in '92 or '76. Although I have to admit that winning two with the new and shiny toy was really cool back then.     No surprise there. This is arguably the largest gulf between teams that is possible in the NFL today. Only Denver has a legitimate claim to being in our league and even if Jacksonville traveled to Colorado, they'd likely pick up a few points while Manning would call off the dogs after 4 or 5...

    That's just not even fair. I read somewhere (CHFF, I think) that close games are generally toss-ups in the NFL.     This team is on a whole new level. I've watched it all. I watched the expansion years where we were thrilled to get 9-7. A winning record! I've seen the first excellent teams, winning in Miami, winning 12 games (and losing to the freaking Broncos at home(!) to lose the division...), suffering...

    I suggest that you should have named the thread something along the lines of "Seahawks win despite a poor showing from our main strength, the ground game" or "Seahawks win on the road despite not bringing their A game". As it stands, the title is simply inaccurate.
