all they have to do is add a small fee to each seat ticket next year that comes with part ownership in the team. would only add something like $13,253,000.00 to each ticket..... But against the NFL rules..... well it was a thought.
I agree with DT. there was NO countdown, i was there also. they took random readings throughout the game. just the crowd reacting to the plays on the field.
when KC set the record, they did a countdown from 10. they let the crowd know when The Guiness Book people were going to take the reading and the coordinated the crowd. Ours was taken live, during the game without any notice.
I never hope for an opposing team player to be injured, but having a severely bruised ego for the whole off season sounds good to me. I would settle for Stafford having to sit on a pillow on the flight home because he has a bruised butt from us putting him on it all game would be nice too.
I'm 70 and was there the first year, Season ticket holder. "The Tip" was right in front of me. You have to go thru the pain to earn the glory, and i have paid my dues!
Bandwagon? we were selling out the Kingdome for years before we had a winning season. and that a rich comment coming from a team that moved their team 40 miles away from San Francisco....LOL
