    My wife and I were literally just talking about why not just bring up Locklear and give him a legit shot at 1B. There's no chance he'll be as bad as Solano, and I like his chances of being at least as good as Tellez (not that that's a high bar).

    Gilbert is being placed on the 15 day IL with a mild flexor strain in his pitching elbow. No throwing for 2 weeks then he'll be re-examined to determine the next steps in his rehab. Logan Evans is being called up and will get the start tomorrow. It will be his MLB debut.

    Agreed, but I'll do you one better. This is by far my favorite pick since our 2nd pick in the draft, and I won't be surprised at all if he turns out to be the best player we picked outside of the first 2.
