Poll: Better team, 2013 versus 2025?

Which version of the 2013 Seahawks are we getting? The theoretically complete version has Sidney Rice, Brandon Browner, and Percy Harvin all available to play. But that version of the team only played once - a 20 point home win over the Vikings. I'd take that 2013 Seahawks to beat any other...

    Season Opener

Because we beat them so decisively, I'm guessing not. I'll go with Chicago as the most likely opponent, followed by the Chargers.

Aros' Fearless SBLX Prediction Thread (@ Patriots)

You think New England's defense is nearly Seattle's equal because you've watched them play a Denver offense without Nix, Dobbins, and Franklin. Or a Chargers offense with no offensive line, and pretty much no Omarion Hampton. If Milton Williams and Christian Gonzalez are better than our guys...

    HAWKS 43 - Pats 8

It takes better receivers than Old Man Diggs and his four TDs in a season to get Woolen agitated.

    HAWKS 43 - Pats 8

Houston felt the same way. They were happy to play simple coverage against us, thinking Stingley could cover JSN. And they were wrong. Gonzalez is good. He's no 2013-14 Sherman or 2009-11 Revis. And that's the caliber of guy you need to just man up on JSN and shut him down.

    HAWKS 43 - Pats 8

Apparently we learned something - we're 3-0 against the Patsies since Super Bowl 49.

Patriot Fans being delusional part two…

The other big difference I see is we protect the passer, and get after the opposing QB. The Patriots struggle to do both. Defensively, we had 47 regular season sacks, tied with Houston and the Rams for seventh place. The Patriots? 35 sacks on defense, tied for 22nd place with a few other...

Patriot Fans being delusional part two…

Yeah, Patriots fans calling out the Seahawks for facing "weak quarterbacks" is rich, when they've faced backup quarterbacks in three of their final five games. (Quinn Ewers, Brady Cook, and Jarrett Stidham.)

Patriot Fans being delusional part two…

Probably not. But it depends upon how much you want to nitpick the Seahawks' three losses. There's Patriots fans that want to go back to our week one loss to San Francisco. If they do that, the Pats loss to the Raiders becomes fair game. As does your loss to Pittsburgh, which happened right...

Marshawn Lynch on Wilson and Pete Carroll

I know I've brought this up before in your many Russ bashing threads, Keasley, but if we're talking about "internal accountability" - it's one of the quirks of those teams that the members like Rich, Doug, Kam, etc....can't bring themselves to admit it was Marshawn that was held less accountable...

Can we stop getting cute with the playcalls...

...and run the ball???? 2nd and 5....let's keep running it with Zach!

Superbowl XL referee Bill Leavy passes away at 76

Ehhh... Both of Mr. "Slave to the Businessman" Josh Brown's misses were longer than you might remember. He missed from 53 and 50 yards. Although you can make the argument that in a dome, he should still make them. Thing is - even if he makes those kicks - we still lose 21-16. Sure, it...

    Receiver pushed off Woolen lol

I'm biased, of course. But it didn't seem that subtle to me. OPI could easily be called there.

    Pete Ball

It's what every team would  like to do, but there's definitely some that can't. The physicality we're seeing from our offensive line is the best since 2018. And that team needed the gimmick of playing OT George Fant at TE. No gimmicks needed for this team to pound away.
