Just a reminder for those unaware, or who maybe have forgotten it’s coming up.

1st episode is 08/11, series will be 5 episodes.

5 episodes seems short, anyone know if this is standard?. I don’t typically watch this.

I've never watched a full season of hard knocks. I doubt I'll watch this one as well. I catch most games live unless it's 1pm East Coast early start.

Training camp Hard Knocks' seasons are generally 5 episodes. The in-season ones are generally 6. So the 5 is pretty standard.

5 seasons is standard. Considering that training camp is from late July to late August there is really only about 5 weeks worth of material.

I am glad that we are only doing the training camp and not the in season version. Training camp distractions can be alleviated before the season but in season distractions can be detrimental to games that count.

So glad it's on HBO. Comcast out here in the Seattle area is still in a battle with the NFL Network so I haven't had it on my tv for a couple months. Sh** better be sorted out before the season starts

Should be fun to see how things are instead of depending on Social Media or the team to provide actual reports, pictures, or video of what is going on.

Of course, I'm fully expecting Mike to keep many things under wraps (so teams don't get any idea of what he's planning) but that's a no-brainer.


I wonder if Hard Knocks gives any of the Rookies any air-time like Julian Neal or Bud Clark....

This is really interesting to me....

I think it's common knowledge JS is working with Spoon on an extension. It would be really good tv to show some behind-the-scenes meetings with his agent or between the player and agent. That's a completely opaque part of the nfl for 99% of the world. Perhaps some coverage is in the works. ...and Spoon would be the perfect player to give more exposure. (maybe JS gets a million discount for added air time...)

Spoon is hilarious. He's gonna' be great on that show. Jones too. Can't wait to see Bud Clark, sounds like he's not lacking in confidence. Exactly how it should be.
