Well if you are going to hold a joint practice might as well hold it against the worst team in the NFL with a new head coach that was a total failure his first time around and a #1 overall pick at QB that might be worse than Jamarcus Russell and (#2 overall) Ryan Leaf. Unfortunately pudding doesn’t sharpen steel.

This is one of the worst takes I think I’ve ever read on this forum, and that’s really saying something.

First off, Cam Ward is nowhere near a bust. His play continued to progress as the season went on.

Secondly, it’s a joint practice. Neither team is showing anything to the other schematically, and they are still NFL players.

I'm like... is this a bit Mike is doing? Maybe there's a punchline where he turns around and says " haha!! Got you!" or something.

I find it hard to believe that a NET member has THAT bad a take.

I don't know....maybe I haven't been here long enough but damn...

Nobody here has watched more Titan games than I did last year (all of them) I know of what I speak. Cam might not be considered a bust YET by most but he will. He was a HORRIBLE passer and never wanted to run. He ain’t it.

Cam Ward might be the only good player on that Titans team, and definitely improved as the season went on.

Last 8 games of the season he threw for 10 TDs to just 1 INT, (getting injured at the start of the 8th game), plus 2 more on the ground. Not MVP numbers, but definitely great progress for a 1st year QB.

He also gave us FITS in our game - the Titans one of just 3 teams to put 24+ on us (Rams, Bucs in the everybody-in-the-secondary-is-injured game), so this is a great opportunity to right some wrongs

My son and I went to that Tennessee game in Nashville. Things stand out when you watch the games live…

It kind of reminded me of the Dolphins vs Bengals game we went to (the one where Tua was throwing up gang signs). We live outside of Cincy…Bengals are our ‘AFC team’ by proxy…anyways…one guy really stood out in his movements and athletic ‘prowess’. Of course, it was Tyreek Hill.

In that Titans game, it was Spoon and JSN (duh). And….Cam Ward.

TLDR: Cam Ward is the real deal.

Forgot the Titans even existed, wonder what that's like for those kind of teams, to be so...irrelevant.

This seems to be becoming an annual thing under Mike. I don't mind. Makes sense to get some work in against another team, regardless of their standing in the league.

I’ve never been a fan of them but I am changing my mind as they do help to offset losing a preseason game

Simmons is the best player. And Pollard is very good. Wish he was a Seahawk. But Cam Ward … blah. And before him Will Levi’s … blah. Tannehill was great and a big step up from the Oregon Schmuck. They gave up on Malik Willis too soon.

It’s just practice. But the passing of Ward to the turf or out of bounds with no pressure was beyond bad. Most highly picked rookie QBs end up on highly flawed teams and the QB position is highly dependent on everyone else. I
You can’t expect much. I get that. But this kid just didn’t flash talent.
