Got a QB that won't be any help
Got a TE.. like what the hell do they need another TE for
Got a tackle.. the only thing they got that could be needed.,

They did get a decent CB from a trade

It's wild how bad the other NFC West team drafts have been. The Cardinals started out with a couple players but then threw away their high (#1) third rounder on Beck. The Rams didn't move the needle a single inch with their selections. The 49ers could easily go 0/3 so far. Maybe their WR eventually turns into a player, but you could have gotten him later and used that pick on a guard or safety. And yes I'm biased, but Seattle filled three needs with three "Seahawky" players. Despite our stacked roster, all three of them will be on the field this year making plays.

Looking at the Rams first pick with an eye to overall effect I think Simpson was a good pick by them. Just like I think Milroe was a good pick by us. No he will not have an immediate effect, but will be ready when the time calls for it. Good fortification for a time when Stafford packs it in, just as Milroe is stocked with talent and potential to take over when Darnold is done.

Except their window is now , not 5 yrs down the road

Also Milroe was a 3rd rounder not 13th overall

Simpson is a good prospect but I do think they have a 1-2 window topsnwity Stafford and most GMs would've used the 1st on a player that could close the gap.

Not terrible but still a bad pick in my opinion if you want to take a shot now and you never know when you'll be here again

LOL McVag said well it's good for Matt, someone to take practice reps so Matt can rest. Talk about slapping the rookie in the face before he even puts on cleats.
There's dewsh coaches....and then there's elite dewsh level coaches. McSpikeyhair McCrybaby and Sean Peyton are the kings.

Let me get this straight. The Rams had 2 first round picks this year. They traded one of them (plus 3 other picks) for the rights to pay Trent McDuffie $124 million. Then they used the other pick for Ty Simpson, Jalen Milroe's backup at Alabama?

Their fanbase must be going crazy, if they have any fans.

(Btw, the Chiefs used one of their picks to move up and get Mansoor Delane, the best CB in the draft, who won't cost $124 million.)

I hate the Rams but this is a smart move. Supposed to be a real good TE. And they add another one, and they do run a lot of 13 personnel.

They're losing an arms race with Seattle, and their window is now slammed shut. We'll see further unraveling of LA after Seattle kicks their teeth in again. At least they're not SC who keep lying to themselves thinking they're even a part of the race at all.

PS, AZ is @$$.

It's a terrible move for an average TE, they are stacked heavy at that position. They badly needed LB and CB help
