There were a couple of high value CBs still available but I don’t think Darnold would be effective without a good running game , so I guess am good with the pick.

He is much slower than K9, good part is he sticks his foot in the ground and hits a crease rather than often dancing and losing 4 yards often killing drives like k9 did

K9's biggest weakness was his lack of vision. this kid's vision is exceptional. Like all world.

Am a bit surprised by this pick though many predicted it. Clearly though the team had faced an inability to trade back and picked the player they like best at a position of need. I thought the team would likely pick a DB, but that large group has with just one exception fallen so there will be some quality guys available at 64 if they remain there when they pick at 64.

Suspect Price will have a better year than Love wil as AZ has a weak OLine and no legit starting QB. There is an interesting scouting report on Price done by Love that can found @ www.fieldgulls.com , Love has immense respect for Price and says a lot of great things about him.

He costs $3 million a year for 4 years. You can pick up half a Pro Bowler for the difference from what Walker would have cost. Come back and crap on me if Walker is ever worth $13 million more a year. Price already pass blocks as well as Walker (which is not good at all.)

So I love this pick. Mind you, us Catholics are all Notre Dame fans, and if I am wrong, I just have to say 3 Hail Marys.

When the pick was made, I was somehow surprised and not surprised at the same time. I do like Schneider's philosophy the last few years. Don't overthink it, keep your pick, and get yourself a difference maker. I wonder how the national offseason narrative is going to switch up now since the hate rolled in post-Walker leaving (and then with the Rams doing nothing for their "window" year...)

I think it’s a good pick for #32. But I’m pretty sure JS tried to trade back and couldn’t, so he was the best available. I’m happy with it.
