I read once that NBA big men with small feet are more nimble. Patrick Ewing was 7ft, but wore 1.5.5 shoes, which is small for his height.
Seems small for any height, except for maybe Peter Dinklage

Mine went from 8.5 at age 25 to size 10 at age 50. I tell my wife that feet isn't the only thing that grows as you get older. wink wink...
Well for me, it was my stomach. #fatass

weirdest thing I've seen in sports in a while. If you are a 10.5 and try and wear a 12 you would be swimming in them.

Not necessarily.

I wear 10.5 in most brands. I measure out to 10.5 but not all shoes are the same. Nike's I wear 11.5, sometimes 12 because they run small for example. It's just not as simple as you are this so you wear this.

I wear Brooks Ghost exclusively, and they're always 1 size up from what you usually wear. It's a trip.
Yeah, Brooks run small too. Plus the width of your feet will also play a factor so it's not all that crazy he was wearing 12's. For the everyday person wearing the wrong size can cause pain over time but as an athlete it can cause that process to speed up. It's not all that crazy.

I know way more about shoes than ever wish I did.

It's so damn annoying when you order a pair and they're too tight. Even when you buy the wide ones, you still gotta' go up a size.
