The Chicago Bears have an unexpected hole in the middle of their offensive line. Center Drew Dalman is expected to retire from the NFL after five seasons, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday.

The price for Lindenbaum and McGovern just went up a couple of million.

Dalman is only 27, and he made $18 million last year. Surprising he would walk away from that.

That’s not a plural ‘s, it’s a possessive and those do have an apostrophe unless you can argue that it”s plural and possessive so it should be bears’…. I think

While there are exceptions, using an apostrophe with plural versions of single letters is allowed, but not required. People also often mix up the year thing, when you SHORTEN the years, it becomes '90s, with the apostrophe before and not after, 1990s as in the plural for the time period has no apostrophe, unless you are denoting ownership/possession, in which case you could say something grammatically correct such as "1990's best film was Goodfellas", which is referring to the best film of that single year, while if you were to say "The best film of the 1990s was Goodfellas", you are referring to the entire decade of the 1990s. Uncommon edge cases are hardly something to try and hang your hat on for this.

But we’re not talking about who owns the Bears, we’re talking about who owns drew dalman. And nobody now, but he was owned by the bears. He was the bears’ center. Is that correct professor?
