Give me your player to watch this year in college. Mine is A’mauri Washington. 6’4 330lbs DL, Oregon. Hit 21.4 MPH this summer, with a 36.5” vertical.

I compare his college career to Murphy. Has been the first guy off the bench on the DL, and will be starting this year

Poster had named this corner back from Indiana and he;s right , he looks really good for a later round pickup even being somewhat undersized.

D'Angelo Ponds
IND • DB • #5
View Profile

  • Measurables: 5-foot-8⅝, 182 pounds, 9⅝-inch hands, 29⅜-inch arm length, 72¼-inch wingspan
  • Testing: 43.5-inch vertical jump
D'Angelo Ponds entered the combine with concerns about his ability to compete with bigger wideouts and play on the outside, but he eased some of those worries Friday with a 43.5-inch vertical jump. That leap ranked best among cornerbacks and fourth-best by a cornerback in combine history.

I wonder what the odds are of any of us being able to successfully guess two of the Seahawks picks.

One of my early mocks in 2024. I think nailed AJ Barner. I was fairly early with Barner and even said he was a 3rd round caliber player.

Brandon Coleman found his way onto the practice squad last season.

Random question but Daniel Jeremiah is always in the news during draft time with prospect rankings but spends like 90% of the time doing interviews, podcasts etc. He makes it out like he personally watches and scouts them but I cant see how he would have the time for an entire draft class. Does he legitimately do it or is he just a front man for the league and their analysts give him the info?

Send your question(s) to Brian Nemhauser (aka HawkBlogger) and Rob Staton (Seahawks Draft Blog) because both of these guys periodically interview Daniel and would likely ask him the question(s) for you.

The pundits all have us going CB @ 32, but I think the quality for CBs is basically the same at 32 as 64. I'd like the G from Oregon, Emmanuel Pregnon.

That said, I think there's going to be a lot of reaching in the first round because other positions are so thin. We might get a top 15-25 prospect as BPA because so many teams have positions of need.

With our defensive performance teams will want to emulate it, so drafting positions and prospects GM's and coaches feel can perform likewise is going to happen, copycat league remember. Now add in need for QB's and yes I think some players will drop, mostly offensive ones though, CB'S and Safety's that are athletic will be flying off the board.

Barner was one of the few players I recognized in the parade.

I'm sure he would just say he does as that's his branding
