Schneider was one of just seven GMs to earn a top "A" grade. Macdonald earned an A also, which was a tie for third, behind McVay and Dan Quinn, who both got an A+. Mac is one of 11 to get an A though, and is listed ninth, so I don't know if they were ranked within that tier. They weren't listed alphabetically.

Overall grades had Dolphins first and Steelers last.

F for the field?! Woah!

The players don’t like the field turf, or just our kind of field turf??

These Steelers grades, holy crap! Their only A was for head coach. Got some bad news for their players about that.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Wonder which home fields got A grades.

Just checked.

Only Ravens, Broncos, Chiefs, Raiders, Dolphins, Eagles, and 49ers. And three or four of those were A-. Wonder what's so great about their fields compared to others. I suppose they're real grass and way better maintained.

I thought the Niners got their field issues sorted out.

49ers get an A for a Power Plant nearby that wrecks soft tissue. A.

I'm old enough to remember when natural grass was public enemy #1 and field turf was the way of the future.

Weird that we get an F for our home field. Seems harsh. Although I have heard many players say they much prefer playing on grass over field turf. Just never thought our field was considered that bad.

My inner Dave Wyman is coming out when I say, “Oh yeah?! Field turf is a DREAM compared to the artificial turf we used to play on back in the 80’s you whippersnappers!!”

I’m also in the camp that says, if the players hate the field, then we need to listen and make a change. At least a conversation around what is ideal should be had. This is a multi billion dollar business and the field seems to be a pretty big factor to me. How can we improve?

So Quinn got an A+ after leaving Daniels in to dislocate his elbow in a game that was basically a rehab start for him and was well out of control?

I'm curious about this also. I found online that "The 2026 NFLPA report cards (covering the 2025 season) were based on an anonymous survey conducted from November 2 to December 11, 2025. " Daniels season ending injury was on December 7. So were their votes already in? Could you change your survey once submitted?

It's possible he's so well liked by the players that they forgave him for it. I'm sure Daniels wanted to be out there anyway. It's not uncommon for mistakes to be made in the heat of battle. I'd hope he learned from it.

Both the seahawks and sounders hate that turf.

Wish we could have something like what Arizona and Real MAdrid do where you can roll out and switch the turf. Grass for sounders, pristine field turf or whatever for the hawks.

The turf gets absolutely wrecked after stuff like concerts and motocross events.
