The announcement during the run up to the SB certainly smelled like typical Patriots machination any cheat that might help is something that needs to worked.

Winning the SB just confirmed the team is a hugely valuable commodity and likely ensured a Max value for the team. Finding the right purchaser who will act in the best interests of the team and the league will be an interesting find.

It is just what it is and will play out in the fullness of time.

I hope that Jody while looking for a good offer also looks at the integrity of the buyer, Billionaires have egos to be sure and many like to show it, however people like the Allens are what we would like to continue to have I think or maybe Cuban, he is smart enough to understand the players are the commodity, the Franchise is where they come to work. He was smart enough to manage the Mavericks to winning without being a bothersome owner and just made sure the team had all the resources needed and took care of the fans also.

I still am in support of Bezos because his companies are not afraid to try new things yet will cut bait if its not panning out. i.e. He would have fired PC 4 years sooner.

Im actually at peace with this. We aren’t desperately selling to the first person with enough cash. I believe Jody and those in charge will seek out the best owner for the team. I don’t see her disrespecting what Paul has done here. I could be wrong but until that comes to fruition I’m choosing to just not be worried.

The only thing that could be a concern would be if they were to tighten the purse strings in preparation for the sale but o just don’t see that happening here

Damn, this is a dark day for Seattle Seahawks football.
I agree. Paul Allen has a directive that the team is to be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of location or ties. In other words , they'll have NO say in who winds up with the team.

Kind of a shitty thing to do.

Let's hope it's true because why would anyone want to be associated with that disgusting human being?

Not advocating for or against it. Just stating the facts that the claim was false. Also, be careful with the political references. Im sure there's a mod running around here somewhere with a hammer.

Phil Knight would be the best choice, too bad he’s not 10 years younger. He would invest the needed money and allow John and Mac to to what is needed to win. Maybe we can convince him to buy it even though he is old.

Impossible. No one is worse than Jerry, except the Nintendo guys. They are garbage.
Haslem. Forced the team to trade for shadeur, paid Watson that awful contract, told the gm to hire the current coach which annoyed their currently good DC.

Bengals owner also sucks and is cheap. Likewise the chargers owner who moved them from San Diego despite the fact no one in LA cares about them.
