This is a must-win Superbowl to me.

I say this, because this is the first time that this team has been to the SB since 2014 when they faced off against the Patriots.

There isn't a single player or coach on either team from that game, but to me it feels like if they lose this game, the Seahawks are cursed against the Patriots. Two consecutive times facing in the SB, we can't lose this game.

Despite the horrible playcall to end that game, it still gutted the team and it hasn't been the same until MM was hired. SB hangover is a real thing lately (except for the Chiefs for some reason), and I'm nervous this will always be looming over our heads if they don't walk out with the Lombardi.

So yeah, I'm going to watch every second of the game and try to enjoy it as much as I can, but to me this is absolutely 100% is a must-win game, and forget all the rest of "well at least we made it this far" talk.

I want blood. I want a dominating win. I want the score to be so lopsided in the Seahawks favor that it guts the Patriots. I want them to know what it's like to feel the way we felt a little over a decade ago. I want the Patriots coaching staff second-guessing themselves to the point where they don't even make the playoffs the next year. I want the Patriots players to want a big payday so the team is forced to go their separate ways.

I want vengeance.

I agree. My gut instinct is you’ll need a really big play to split this game open. Like a defensive TD or a Shaheed special otherwise could well be a nervy low scoring game

Sorry Bro

Do you disagree?
Of course not.

To come all this way and lose?

HELL NAW!!!

I imagine the Seahawks players will be going balls-to-the-wall to get the Lombardi.

The end is in sight for all their hard-work and dedication throughout the season.

They will not be denied.

You make a good point. Originally, I thought it'd be OK to lose this one, and was even wondering if we should rest a few key guys to make sure they're healthy for next preseason.
DaPhuc?

I’d rather lose the NFCCG and not make the big dance, than to make it and lose.

Winning raises the bar of expectation.

we are young, up and coming.
If we win this one (even if not) I’ll expect to make it next season.

Alright. You got me. That sarcasm filled post actually made me almost spit out my food reading it.

This is a bit melodramatic, imagine how the Bills fans felt going 0/4 in four consecutive Super Bowls in the 90s. Man up, lol.
