Soft? what replays did you see?
He went over to the Rams sideline and even the Ref tried to warn him
away, he still hung around running his mouth.
This. Theres no excuse to go even near the bench after the PLAY IS OVER THE JOB WAS FINISHED.
So glad it didnt cost us the game

The problem with Woolen is that while he has some talent, you can't fix someone who lacks intelligence

This is not the first, second or even 5th example this year alone of incredibly stupid choices on his part

We learned this from DK. Never worth the headache

Send him packing

DK had ONE unsportsmanlike penalty last year, and it was in a week 17 game we won. He was traded because it didn't make sense for us to pay him what he wanted. He got his payday, we got good compensation, it worked out.

Despite his bone headed moments he's light-years ahead of Jobe. I think he gets a big contract this offseason but I think corner should be a big priority if he does.

Woolen has had 5 bad plays all year.

2 miss played balls in week 1
1 taunting plenty in a big game earlier
2 plays (back to back) today.

It was a soft-ass taunting call for something understandable in the heat of battle. He had just made a great play on the Rams star wideout.

My issue was with the play immediately proceeding it.
It was 100% a taunting penalty. Watch the replay. The ref gave him a couple of seconds of chatting before he threw the flag.

Didn't we get Em out of that trade? If so, it was the bestest trade ever!

Yeah, it was soft.

Our most celebrated play in franchise history involved a guy grabbing his crotch while crossing the goal line and we're going to crucify someone for jawing at the sideline a little? Who cares? Let them have fun.
Yeah...let them have fun and cost us a game..Great fkn idea..!!

We WILL be worse without him.

More importantly, we are going to the SB. He was a big reason why. One screwup (or 4) does not change that.
Even MORE important - Riq does listen to the noise. If you want him to play like crap in the SB? Holding a grudge over that play is a good way to assure it.

If he wins one for us? I don't care WHAT he does. He can go full on 'Brandon Browner' combined with 'Percy Harvin' - as long as he does it after his playing career is over. Just fine with it.

Hes beyond frustrating because its been multiple times this season. He just never learns even after getting benched for that stint. Even the game he had a pick and fumbled it right back because he just has to do something extra. If he was as great as he thinks he would have picked that ball off so at least after the taunting we could have still kept the ball and just 15 yards back. And then to follow it up by getting beat for a td. Again, how can you celebrate ever again but im sure he will be tip toeing the line in two weeks again.
Hes good but not good enough to deal with the nonsense. I let him walk after the season
I will say its stupid that the nfl even calls it a penalty. Let the play on the actual field dictate the game not some talking. He didnt make a gesture or shove anyone. Heck first play of the game jones gets shoved right in front of the ref and no penalty. Clearly ref saw it because he talked to the player right after it. So can shove someone post play and its cool but talk to a coach and its a flag. Its super weak especially in that key part of the game. Plus the flag wasnt even reached for until he started making his way back to his own bench.
Stupid rule but gotta be smarter especially coming from the source

The shit I find most hilarious is knowing Woolen is more like Kelly Jennings than he is Richard Sherman in terms of physicality but if he even breathes on a player there is a flag.

Yet, JSN can get straight up harassed and man-handled by some DBs yet nothing.

Other than a few knuckle-headed moments in between a lot of lock down play Woolen has been best coverage defender and has really upped his physicality in the 2nd half of the season.

I joined in the witch hunt for the first few weeks but bro deserves his kudos just as any other player, warts and all.
Naw...he does not ..!! He almost cost us the game tonight ..for what..couldn't keep his juvenile mouth shut..?? Do you realize he almost fkd over his whole team be a inmature bitch..!!

I doubt it. I really don't care about taunting calls if that stuff helps the player stay engaged. Didn't care when DK did it, even though he did it FAR less than people on here like to claim.
Did I read he has the most personal fouls for a wide receiver in NFL history?

If you have to taunt and risk a trip to the Owl to stay engaged, you're a jackass.
