Whichever tv network hires him better own radio stations too.... There's no way he lasts more than a few weeks on air. He might be a novelty for a couple weeks, but viewers will turn to Red Zone as opposed to hearing him very long. I think my ears are starting to bleed already.

Sadly, he's going to have his pick of network jobs when he retires. He has significant name recognition, even among the casual and non-fans they're trying to snag, and has very good media presence, even as irritating as he is. I'm just hoping he ends up as a host of one of those pre-game shows I havn't watched in like 20 years, rather than as an announcer. The latter is more money and exposure though, which are important to him.
I dont think anyone will want him. No way he passes the screen test. He is awkward, not particularly thoughtful or analytical, and has never shown the ability to improvise when in front of the camera... and not on the field.

And we're continuing to bash RW for what, because he hurt your feelings when he demanded a trade? I would have done everything I could to get away from Carroll too.

I'm not some fanboy of RW by any means, I think he's a creep to be honest. And yes, he constantly does cringe worthy stuff. But so what. All I care about as a seahawks fan is he left it on the field for this franchise week in and week out. The hate this fanbase has for this man is mind boggling to say the least. But whatever gets you through the day.

Who's next? Kearse? Thomas? Lockett? K9? We already know the hate Geno gets. F**king ridiculous. But hey, do you. 🙄

Maybe you're a youngish person but hey, it's just the reality of being an old male.
There's a tendency to develop the 'everyone's an a** but me" syndrome with a heaping of bitterness, and some opinionitis. Not saying this happens to all old dudes but...yeah..
You'll see... 🥸

Since his starting QB days ended, he's been going full blast with his
media team, from posting vid after vid with his going to basketball
games, children's hospital and being on center stage for Dick Clark's
New Years eve celebration.
I've refrained from posting much of it because I wanted him to go
quietly, unfortunately he has other ideas and is now pissed at the Giants
for losing over $10.5 in bonuses from not playing. (Boo Hoo)
I guess this is the shot he's firing on a busy day of more important news
than him by far.

He's a ******* idiot. Has been since Ciara.

Buh Bye.

No actually we continue to “bash” him due to his behavior…so now to save face he brings up an undisclosed injury in a public interview? For what…because he was benched for poor performance? Well maybe the reason he was benched was due to said undisclosed injury???

Message boards are for people to discuss sports stories…it’s in the NFL forum and not the Seahawks forum.

Russell Wilson brought alllll of this on by himself, and as long as he keeps doing stupid things that continue to ruin his legacy, the fan base of the team he spent 10+ years with will have an opinion…mostly negative. Why some take it so personally I’ll never understand. IT’S ALL ON HIM

And no it will never be Kearse, Lockett, or K9. I’ll go ahead and let you google Thomas…

Kearse got bashed the year after he left Seattle, lockett got bashed the last year he was here, and K9 gets bashed every other week. And i dont need ti google Thomas, i was here for it. So try again... And why people take what Wilson does in his personal life so personal, I'll never understand. But like I said, do you 👌

I’ll stick with my opinions and you can stick to yours. How’s that sound?

Not a hall of famer...not in Seattle's ring of honor...his fall from grace is not comparable to anyone else i can think of that didn't piss a career away due to booze drugs or crime...his own ego and selfishness destroyed his career. He is a laughing stock and his career is over.
That is crazy to say lol.

But you're not baiting me into another debate about Wilson so you guys carry on.....

People are obsessed with Wilson to the point its odd to me but like you said "you do you" I just know for 10 years he was a monster for this team and his peak stretch is all time good. He's living rent free in people's heads and I can't figure out why.

He's won't be in the hall of fame, unfortunately. If he could have put together a couple of solid years after Seattle, he would be in the discussion, but he just hasn't played well enough to be on the conversation. He's definitely a ring of honor inductee after a while. Even with all of his shortcomings (no pun intended) he was a phenomenal QB for the Hawks, and brought us our first SB. Yes, people can argue that the defense did most of the heavy lifting, but Russ was a dynamic player at best of times and a steady presence at the very worst.

All of that said, if you don't understand why Russ still gets animosity from Hawks fans, I think you are being willfully naive. It's a very similar situation to ARod. Guys that put themselves and securing the bag over the team are just never going to endear themselves to a portion of the hardcore fans.

It wasn't about securing the bag, he already had a bag. And was guarenteed getting another bag regardless the situation. .

He left because he and Carroll knew it was either going to be one or the other. RW wanted a competent Oline, Carroll had his own vision. RW saw the writing on the wall and created his own opportunity to part ways. I'd have done the same damn thing.

It's just good business sense, and the fact that people are salty about it, and take it personal, tells me one, they don't know how today's NFL works, and two, damn sure don't know how business works. Nobody is loyal anymore. Nobody. Larry Fitzgerald was one of the last of a dying breed. It's all about the bag now. Talk about being Naive....

The funny thing is we now know he was right about Pete, but no one wants to acknowledge it. They all agree with Russ now that Pete was a problem but still hate him for thinking it before they did? It doesn't make sense. Pete was terrible down the stretch and unwilling to move on literally anything. His drafting was terrible, his coordinators were terrible, he wasn't able to jump in and fix issues in the game planning, He didn't want a good line, he kept throwing resources at his defense and yet it was near league worst for 5 straight years etc.
