Haha. Like me, he was already tired before reading posts. I'm flat-out worn out after this week's NFL games. This has been, and still is, a GREAT time to be a Seahawks fan. And take a look at next year's home schedule - it's gold!
quite honestly, I'm not looking ahead for Next year when there's so much left to do this year.

We'd have clinched the Division but not the 1 seed - Bears own the tiebreaker so we would have needed W/T against 49ers or L/T by the Bears vs. Lions.
I hate to admit that I was secretly hoping for the #2 seed - probably would have meant three home playoff games. Plus, I hate bye weeks - teams get rusty.

LOL, i just mean I am very tired so my reading comprehension might not be up to snuff.
Yeah I know. I actually deleted that last comment from that post 'cause I thought in retrospect, it was kind of rude.

I also wasn't too clear in my initial statement. I forgot to mention the "5th seed" but instead mentioned the Kittens and the Bucs after the 1 seed comment. I can see where the confusion arose.

Rams are now locked into the 6 seed facing either Philly or Chicago in an away game.

We either get the 1 seed bye or the 5 seed visiting either Carolina or Tampa Bay
I thought, when we beat the 49ers, that the 49ers would be the 6th seed and the Rams would be the 5th seed (if they beat the Cardinals)...I could be mistaken.

You're correct. If SEA>SF & LAR>AZ week 18 then LAR gets 5 seed and SF gets 6 seed.

yep. If the Niners beat us, the Rams will be the 6th seed.

If we beat the Niners, the Rams will be the 5th seed.

Oh my god...how infuriating it would be for Rams fans to have to be now rooting for us to take the 1 seed. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

My bad, @SoulfishHawk . I thought the Rams were locked into the 6th seed but I got ahead of myself.

But how hilarious is it that they will now have to root for the Seahawks to win the 1 seed to prevent them from having to go up to Philly? 200

We're in a great spot. But there's a great chance that three of the final four NFC teams will be AFC West. It's a killer division which makes McDonald's accomplishments in just two seasons incredible. It's feeling a lot like our early Pete Carroll years.

yeah. My point was that in the event that we fail to get the 1 seed (god forbid), then we get the 5th seed and don't have to face Philly in the first round but instead the Kittens/Bucs.

I figured it out and deleted the post but I guess I was too late. Super tired tonight and my brain is not working right.

Don't worry. It's late anyway but I'm super happy those clowns lost and are now in the position they are.

Hawks actually hold their (Rams) playoff destiny in their (Hawks) hands right now based on what happens this Saturday.

Rams fans are going to have to root for the Hawks to get the 1 seed in order to avoid the Eagles in the first round. 😂 😂 😂
