I got myself all caught up and concerned about our eventual playoff fate. There are so many scenarios.
I’ve been through this all before, as I’m sure many of you have as well.
The reality is, we are already in Gravy territory here because we have a young Roster. We have a dynamic team that is crushing people with physicality and mental acuity. The game plan is amazing. The focus of the roster is on winning and not trying to do it easily, but taking the hard road.
If I were to remember my dreams of what the best Seahawks team ever could be it’s a team that shows up knowing it’s going to be hard and ready to do the work it takes to get the job done. That’s what I see here. It’s not easy and we’re guaranteed nothing. Let’s take our chances and go get this motherfucker!!!!
However this ends I am a super big fan of this team. They have won my heart.
I anticipate that we are going to make it as hard as possible on other teams and if they beat us, they’re gonna have to play their best. That’s all I can ask for.
Who’s with me? Let’s Go!!!!!

Not worried at all. Just normal nervous before any game. This team is a contender and this season has been a blast.
I couldn’t agree more with what you’re saying. I choose to believe in this team. I’m super excited to see how this all turns out

Pete's team was about Grit, and grinding it out miracle comebacks.
This team.. they're special. They're not playing with chips on their shoulders. They're playing with not just fire, but heart and passion. The passion they have for the staff, the fans, each other. I know LOB was special but that was a "small" until that carried a LOT of weight themselves with lynch on the other side. This team.. lifts each other up, and carries the weight equally. Not one person is any less important than the other. This generation of Seahawks is truly special. the WHOLE team top to bottom.

Every sunday I always say we're getting this W, not out of cockiness but because I have faith in this team. If they don't they're still young, the window is wide open, and we're just getting started.

Yep. We all look at our own way. Negativity is a CHOICE.
So grateful for the grit I see every game day! I’ve been ride or die for 50 years. This team inspires me as a human being. Honestly

The team is a real unit. The locker room is united. We have every chance; on our day I think this team is the best in the league and clearly so.

There's no need to denigrate what Pete did for this team when hyping up our team this year - we've had as many 4th quarter comebacks/GWD this year as we did in 2012, 2013 and 2014 (and really most of those were games where Wilson was flat out bad in the first half before turning it on in the 2nd half). We also had our most miracle of miracle comebacks in our last game.

This is a special team - but so was that, and until they one-up them we should continue to hold the guys who won the big one in the regard they deserve, as a historic and special team.

Negativity?

I have my doubts at times but I wouldn’t call it negativity.
Yes it can be argued that “if it ain’t positive”.

I call it skepticism, and after 50 years of this stuff it’s pretty hard to shake at times.

The only thing I worry is that the 49ers beat the Bears today and the Seahawks next week to take over #1 seeding. That would be misery.

Currently I’m not worried about anything but I do have goals I’d like to see this team achieve so I’m actively looking at all the possibilities out there.

I want the 1 seed and insure the Niners don’t cruise at home in the playoffs. NOBODY should want to hear that storyline through the playoffs.

If I gotta worry about a football game, I guess it would be injuries more than anything.

I was asked this same question the other day. My response? I don't care. We are a better road team anyway. Even if we don't win the division, we're going to be very tough to beat.

17 point road win after a massively emotional win. Pretty damn impressive, imo.

U think people only compare to Pete cuz of how dominant we are now. Just like 2012-2015. We are the second youngest team too. So many 23 year old stars! Past, present, and future all looking good! But like a guy said we don’t need to trash the past to appreciate this!
