NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah-Sam Darnold was awesome in Falcons game

Daniel Jeremiah joins Brock and Salk to discuss whether the Seahawks have the best defense in the NFL and how they stack up against Houston, Denver and the Rams,

What he loved about Sam Darnold's performance in Atlanta, why Devon Witherspoon is an X factor, whether there is a changing of the guard at QB in the NFL, and what we should expect from Phillip Rivers.

Hour 2: Colts broadcaster Matt Taylor on which quarterback the Seahawks will face

Bob and Dave get the inside scoop on the Colts unsure quarterback situation for this weekend’s game against the Seahawks from play by play broadcaster Matt Taylor,

They look at how much of a challenge Colts RB Jonathan Taylor will pose for the Seahawks defense, and

They discuss whether Jalen Sundell will be healthy enough to Olu or Bradford this Sunday.

Hour 3: ESPN’s Brady Henderson on what he's seen from Seahawks QB Sam Darnold this season

Bob and Dave are joined by ESPN’s Brady Henderson live at the VMAC to get his thoughts on what he’s seen from Sam Darnold so far this season, what he hopes to see from the run game this weekend against the Colts, and what it would look like for the Seahawks defense to face the 44 year old Phillip Rivers,

They discuss the possibility of the Mariners signing Nolan Arenado, and they hear Cam Newton get offended that the Colts didn't call him ahead of Philip Rivers in Sweeping the Dial.

Hour 4: Seahawks LB Drake Thomas on what he’s learned this season

Bob and Dave are joined by Seahawks linebacker Drake Thomas live at the VMAC to get his thoughts on the challenges the Colts will bring this weekend and what he’s learned this season,

They break down what the Seahawks offense will have to do to overcome the Colts defense this weekend,

They bring you some of the biggest stories around the NFL, including Eagles QB Jalen Hurts’ turbulent season, and they wrap up the show by finding out what we learned today!

At 10:45 in the podcast, Hour 3: ESPN’s Brady Henderson said: "they (Seahawks) were facing the most loaded boxes of any NFL team over the first couple of weeks."

Brady thinks that Rashid's speed forced teams to lighten the box a little.

He talked about that. Knows Rivers well, followed him quite a bit when he played before and has a lot of respect. He thinks Rivers could surprise a lot of people, but it’s purely speculation b/c nobody’s seen him play for the past 5 years.
Having respect for someone doesn't mean that someone is going to just step in and be the player he was in his prime.

Plus, he was already on the downturn in his final year (five years ago).

How bad do you think he'll be now at this point?

Going to say it right here and now (with confidence) :

There is ZERO CHANCE that the Colts score 21 points with a 44-year-old Grandpa against this Defense. ZERO.

What will happen is that he will hand the ball off to Taylor (who's been mid the past several weeks) 90% of the time and the Hawks will just about stop him every time forcing Grandpa to throw the ball which wouldn't end all that well for him.

Hell, I would be very surprised if the Hawks D allowed a TD at all in this game.

Also, 24 points scored by the Offense? DJ doesn't have much faith in it, it seems.

This offense is going to score almost as much as they did against the Falcons in this game.

This has 37-6 blowout written all over it.

Soul, do you really believe the Final score will be 24-21?

I mean seriously....

That is my main beef with Jeremiah here.

Not what he is as a person or what he has said about the Hawks but for his Final Score prediction which makes no sense to me.

Sure he has the right to his own opinion but that doesn't mean he has a right to be free of someone else having an opposite opinion. That's not how it works.

Pisses me off that he was.

This game had no business being THIS close.

BUT as you always say, @SoulfishHawk , a win is a win.

And i'm going to just agree with you on that.

This Thursday is the Big one, though.

I'll probably keep listening to DJ. Seem's to know what he's talking about.

Well I’d say currently… Rivers was ass. Pure game manager if even that. His dunk and dunk passes were Even questionable at that. As everytime they showed the camera on him dude was gasping for air. Pre game he looked about as out of shape as one could be to play football. Double chinned, beer belly all of it. His saving grace was the officiating game plan was to let his oline and DBs hold every possible moment so it wasn’t a slaughter fest. Thankfully Myers’s 6/6 FGs spoiled that for them

I must say it's quite the flex for someone to come spike the football in my face just 'cause my above prediction didn't come to fruition. Whatever floats one's boat, I suppose.

I've been enjoying listening to DJ on Brock and Salk and remember him saying he thought this one would be closer than most people think.

I'll be curious to hear his thoughts on the Ram's game coming up.

A win is a win, but this time I felt pretty damn pissed. Most of the game. Oh well, 4th quarter was a blast, and fortunately they didn't take me away from my seat in a strait jacket. Let's just say I was losing my mind, in the good way.

Cool. Anyone else want to come verbally bash me in my face with more gotcha's? 😒
Come on bro, it's no biggie. Sometimes predictions are way off. They won the game. Massive game on Thursday.
At least this team can play like garbage and still win. There's something to be said for that.
11-3 is nothing to shake a stick at. I've never understood that saying...........
Why would shake a stick at something? Just flip it off.

ok...for clarity...I said:

Then you said:
Cool. Anyone else want to come verbally bash me in my face with more gotcha's? 😒

Now help me understand how you were verbally bashed. Seem's like it's kinda sensitive to me...and no, that's not bashing you, it's simply saying you may be overreacting.

I could have been defensive to the initial response on my DJ take...not that it would be warranted. You gave your opinion, with a little sarcasm, and I respected that. It was clever and made me chuckle a bit honestly.

IMO, when you make absolute predictions that don't come to fruition, you should anticipate some feedback. Pretty gental TBH.

@LeveeBreak *gentle (if I may be the Grammar Police here)

And as far as me being verbally bashed goes, maybe that's not the term I was looking for.

I made a prediction and I ended up with egg on my face.

Then you came by with basically what amounts to an "I told you so" which isn't verbally bashing but it is a bit irritating (still deserved, though).

I'm not making any more predictions on any game 'cause NOTHING MAKES ANY FRIGGIN' SENSE.
