Oregon didn’t dominate without their top 3 WRs? Gave up 280 yards of offense. And if not for a dumb decision to not take the 20 second runoff, and a lucky 4th and 8 TD throw, it should have been 34-3. With DAK and Gary Bryant, the huskies couldn’t have loaded the box, then it would have gotten even uglier.

And that’s not even getting into the BS not giving JMac the catch against his helmet. Which was 100% a catch. UO probably scores on the series also.
Oregon is a good team. However, they are not good enough to win the CFP. As soon as they run into a team with significant offensive horsepower they are done. So brace yourself for another disappointment when they, yet again, gag on the challenge of a big game.

Washington wasn't good enough to be ranked. All the angst must be Husky fans.

Oregon is losing both the offensive coordinator and the defensive coordinator.
To become headcoaches at Cal and Kentucky respectively. Now that's a program with national respect.

11 and 1 is really good. I am looking forward to the playoff games. Ducks finished ranked in the top 6. I will take that anytime. It's good for the team, the coaches and the school. Recruiting is and will be top ranked. Winning is winning. Lets go win a playoff game!
$$$$$$$ is the reason. They can spend more than anyone if they need to. Congrats.
Win an actual National Championship and get back to us.
Ducks fans actually calling that "destroying" a team says everything you need to know about the arrogant fanbase.

The Ducks aren't our rivals anymore, so it hardly matters.

Basically, the Ducks are Texas A&M - highly ranked recruiting classes, continually top 10 if not top 5...but not really coming near expectations each year.
However, they are still winning and remain one of the top teams, despite often losing their big games each year. Probably looking at being a #3 or #4 in the Big 10 year after year.

The Huskies have recently become the Tennessee of the Big 10. Think they are good but teams like LSU fire their coach for putting up #s like that. Continually fail against the better teams. Not really worth anyone's attention for the near future. Literally a middle of the pack Big 10 team for the near to mid-term future.

The Huskies have only been in the Big Ten a couple of years. LOL The year before that, the Huskies were undefeated and playing in the national championship game. There are only two Big Ten teams that can say that for many years.

Side note: I hope Demond Williams stays at UW for another year or two. He's fun to watch a lot of the time. And some more arm strength could very well come with another year or two of maturing and work.

I'm not sure why he would leave, unless coach heads for greener pastures. He's not an NFLer now, may never be, and someone would have to give him a bunch of NIL money. But who knows?
