Ok fair enough.
Maybe someone will take the time to look up how often 4th downs get converted at a 5/7 rate in one game.
I’d wager that it had more to do with our bad play than the Titans good play.
If you were seeing what I was seeing, particularly in the 2nd half, you were seeing our defensive front just running over their offensive line on almost every snap. Ward had no pocket to speak of or time to process through his reads. I couldn't believe we didn't sack him 3-4-5 more times than we did.
Even when we flushed him from the pocket we were still chasing him down most of the time. Yet he either ran for positive yardage, or hit some receiver in the clutch the majority of the time. How about that time where we collapsed the pocket, had him on the run to the sidelines, and he jumps in the air as he's going out of bounds and hits that receiver to move the chains.
Anyway...I just thought he played damn good today, and if he wasn't doing his Houdini thing we would have won by a lot more than we did.
