After oregons dominating and convincing win against a top USC team it seems like everyone is agreeing the ducks are one of the best teams in the country. They have the best loss of any 1 loss team just narrowly losing to undefeated #2 Indiana.

Next up is just UW who has been middling preventing them from hosting a home playoff game. Can't see a way the Huskies win

Oregon is in, win or lose. It’s just if it will be a home game or road game.

Oregon is in. UW has no shot at the CFP regardless of what happens next week. Three losses, and they need USC to lose to UCLA just to have a chance at tying for fifth in their own conference. Plus, they lost to Wisconsin, which is still hilarious.

Also, lol at "top USC team".

Oregon has had a pathetically easy schedule this year. Their only real test was Indiana, and they got their clocks cleaned at home. Yeah, they're going to get in in, but they have virtually no chance whatsoever to win it all. The thought of it is laughable.

The Wisconsin game was a terrible, pathetic loss, but that's how they roll under Jeb. Play very well at home, awful on the road. They're a 10.5 point favorite at UCLA tonight, but I'm 100% expecting them to play like absolute shit and lose because it's a road game and that's just what they do under dopey Jeb.

That being said, Wisconsin is playing awfully well against a 7-3, ranked Illinois team right now. 🤷‍♂️

Won without 6 starters on O today, and a walk on playing C

Wisconsin scored a total of 47 points in eight conference games going into the week. Them beating a mediocre Illinois team that has lost four games this season by more than three scores isn't going to suddenly vault Washington into the CFP conversation.

If UW beats Oregon, they'll finish the season with three losses, have just one ranked win, and barring a UCLA upset over USC, will be finishing in tie for sixth in their conference at best. CFP is not going to happen.

Bro, nobody thinks UW has any shot at all of making the CFP.

I believe what the OP meant was Ducks vs Huskies for the Ducks to make the CFP, which should be obvious because, again, UW has zero chance no matter what, and everyone is well aware of that fact.

Oregon beat #3 Penn St, #20 Iowa and #15 USC plus several winning teams. Where they are ranked after we beat them is not our problem. They won some games by just running the ball. Beating UW will be the cherry on the cake on an 11 and 1 season.

Ducks have the #1 pass defense in the nation and the #27 rush defense. 12th in offense 471 yards per game. 8th in scoring 39 points a game. Playing Alabama or even Notre Dame sounds really good to me in the College Football Playoffs. In fact it sounds epic.

Maybe Michigan beats Ohio State. Fun. Then Oregon would be in the B1G Championship due to strength of schedule.

Go Michigan!

Go Ducks! ❤️

Penn State sucks this year and you know it. Iowa is a good team, but they're not a true competitor. That would have been a fairly big upset if they lost. USC can't even run the ball. No one took them seriously as a CFP team.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to play in the BIG title game? What’s the benefit?

If Penn state had played uw Saturday instead of ucla. UW would have lost by double digits

Lol. Penn State is 5-6 overall, 2-6 in conference, fired their long term HC mid season, and lost to the same UCLA team UW just curb stomped on the road on Saturday night.

So oregon will start in the top 10 next year. Legacy. We would possibly play Indiana 3x.
Not unlike last year with Ohio State.

It is a rivals game, Huskies will give it their all, and Oregon may be tired from the last game. Huskies will keep it close, the last quarter will decide it IMO.

Oregon fans love just making stuff up. Hell of a team that will choke in the playoff, like the do every single time.

UW is not close to being in the Ducks way this season,
it may be a while before UW gets national attention again.
