Darnover has been good enough this season that I actually wouldn't mind the Seahawks keeping him on his current contract. He's a pretty good value at that price.
What has terrified me this season is fear of the Seahawks getting excited about a good record this season and signing Darnold to a long-term contract at top-QB money. Darnold is a perfectly decent transition QB, but is very, very far from being worth top-QB money.
