Doesn't ESPN ratings have us at 9? What a disparity. 1? Hmmmm. Top five for sure IMO......

It's better when they aren't talking about us. But that performance on SNF will et people talking... Clearly one of the four or five top teams.

ESPN refuses to give us too much love. It's comical actually. You would have to be blind or completely biased to not admit the Seahawks are one of - if not the best - team in the NFL RIGHT NOW.

ESPN's ratings seem to be designed to create controversy. They also switched Alabama and A&M this week, even though both had bye weeks.

I tend to agree most often with Colin Cowherd's Tuesday top ten. He has us at four, with the Rams, Bills and Eagles ahead of us.

Yeah I don't know what the writers at ESPN are smoking.

It's like they didn't watch that GB and Lions game on Sunday. They did not look good.

Seattle is now back into the top spot in DVOA with a huge victory combined with an embarassing, turnover-filled loss for last week’s No. 1, the Indianapolis Colts. DVOA rates the Seahawks absurdly high after this win. How high? Seattle now has the fourth-best DVOA ever for a team after eight games. You’ll notice that the Colts are on this table as well with their ratings from a week ago, but they’re now roughly in a tie for second place with the Los Angeles Rams. The Colts fell almost 10 percentage points this week.

This season is wide open. Looking at 9 sets of power rankings I saw 5 different teams ranked 1. (Rams, Bills, Eagles, Colts, and us) and 11 teams have a top 5 rank which much make them a contender in the eyes of the writer. That means that a third of the league could be classed as "contenders"

5 of the rankings I saw had the Rams top (with the others having 1 each), although Vegas favors the Bills, Vegas actually has the Chiefs second who were top of some power rankings before getting toppled by the Bills.

I find it hard to rank us, we have not slipped up against a weak team (yet) which is obviously good but our only game against one of the 11 "contenders" was our loss to the Buccs. Our games against the Rams and Colts might give a better indication about how likely we are to win against teams in the play-offs.

Not a power ranking guy, but that is oddly satisfying to see them at #1...
