From a PFF article today on Lockdown Percentage. Our very own Riq Woolen and Josh Jobe are among top 10. What is Lockdown Percentage you ask? From the article:

What is Lockdown Percentage?

This metric focuses on coverage, measuring how well a defender prevents a receiver from getting open. It excludes plays where the defender intentionally gives up space to protect the first-down marker or limit yards after the catch.

Maybe we shouldn’t trade Woolen after all?

Here is a screen shot of the top 15ish for your review.

It's sounding like the Hawks will be keeping Tariq, and I think they'll come out winners doing so. However, if he has an impressive showing tomorrow vs the Commodes, wouldn't be surprised if another team sweetens the trade pot to try to get him.

I'm basically a coin flip with Woolen. I don't hate him, and I don't love him... I just wish the bone head plays and lack of effort would stop, and he's starting to turn the corner a bit as of late, I hope he continues with it..

I'd say it's up to his teammates to get on him about the focus thing. He's got skills, just needs to apply them consistently. That was one of the traits of the LOB. They held each other accountable, even when the coaches didn't.

This is the truth.

Problem is that’s a very rare dynamic, and there is a fine line between that working and causing worse problems.

Hopefully they get it sorted out soon.
