We have a young, franchise qb, Solid offense, solid defense. Granted, a little dicey on lb and secondary. We are growing together and gelling. I really think we can win it all within the next 2-3 years if not this year. It’s a great feeling to have direction, hope, and leadership. It’s an awesome time to be a Seahawks fan!! Hats off to GM John and Coach Mike

Do think the team still has real needs at edge rush, IlB, and on the interior OLine at RG. It'd be nice to return to health at DB (CB &S) Love the ability of the interior DL to set the tone for the D and wish the team could run better. I do agree with the OP though and think this team is coming on and getting stronger and stronger and truly encouraged by the team's direction. Really am pleased with Darnold’s work to date and think we have true HOF WR in JSN and as time goes on am very much liking how Cooper Kupp is starting to make his presence felt.

I don't think we are contenders this year yet but we aren't far away barring a few pieces (elite pass rusher, second WR, right guard, maybe another corner). We need a few more young players to go from good to great like Witherspoon, Hall or Mafe. Murphy is starting to and so has JSN. Zaibel is looking promising.

We may have got super lucky with Darnold and have him on a relatively bargain contract. Time will tell.

If we can somehow figure out the running game we are a scary team to face.

I need to see us beat a really good team. I think the Bucs or 49ers in game 1 would have been a good start.

I think we are right there with Philly, GB, Detroit, Tampa and Rams as contenders myself

Maybe not the favorites but right in the mix

Why would we need to beat the Rams twice to show we can contend in the NFC?

Tampa is arguably the best team currently and we had the game won in the closing seconds
We didn't beat tampa though or the 49ers, you don't get wins for nearly. Rams are probably the best team left in our schedule

I think we are really close. Would love to see them win a playoff game or two this year. If they make it. Def need some help on the O line. Center snd RG would be amazing to have right now. Cause if we get the run game going it’s game over.

It was by chance that Seattle had 49ers (before half the team got hurt) and Bucs on their schedule for the first 6 weeks. Not that either team blew Seattle out, but had they been just about any other in the league except for perhaps a three or four, Seattle would likely be sporting a 6-0 record.

Not sure we're "building something" as much as we have something special.

One has to remember that Lawrence, Williams, Kupp aren't getting younger and several guys like Woolen, Mafe, Jobe and Walker are FA next year.

There will be a lot of turnover. So don't treat any year like stepping stone year. Every time you have a good team, go all in, because you have no idea if the next year will be better or worse given all the turnover.

Draft a CB in the first, a guard in the 2nd and LB in the 3rd with an emphasis on WR in free agency and that will be a Super Bowl team.

EDGE in the first round, CB second, LB third and find a guard in FA. Remember we might lose Mafe and Lawrence in the off season. If we keep them, then I agree a CB is a decent idea.

Yeah, this has a long term feel to it. Lot of young guys spread around learning from the vets.
