Rudi Johnson RIP

Rudi was one of my favorite players back in the day, we were about the same age. Another nfl player with a brain injury takes his life. It’s scary looking at my kids who are in love with this game just as much as me.

I just got back from Legion Bar & Grill for a Bam Bam meet & greet with my son. We were talking to Kam's mom and she said "Wow! He's a big boy! Which position do you play?" to which I replied "None. He's gonna play baseball!" . I jjust can't do it. At least not until they vastly improve the helmet tech.

Honestly baseball is a better choice for multiple reasons. My sport of choice was basketball, and I put thousands of hours into it, but height plays such a huge part that I never had a future in it. As a lefty I should've played baseball. Height doesn't matter much and being left-handed is an asset.

Baseball has its long term risks as well.
