He seems fine to me. 49ers defense has generally been good while he's there. The Jets had a good defense and poor offense while he was their HC. Didn't look at a ton of fan reactions to his firing there but from what I did see, people seemed more confused or indifferent than happy about it.

Frodo is becoming an analytics genius now. Not so good at math though. 12 th overall defensive DVOA. 4th overall total yards. 7th scoring defense.

And the 49ers defense last year was 29th DVOA

Saleh is doing more with less. The 49ers lost Dre Greenlaw, Charvarius Ward, Javon Hargrave, and Talanoa Hufanga on defense this year. And now they've lost Nick Bosa.

Of course, apart from Bosa, the losses aren't that meaningful. Except for Ward, the others aren't playing very well. Looks like the 49ers moved on from them at just the right time.

Still, Saleh was a bit out of control on Sunday: Saleh to Coen: "I will f--- your world up. You don't wanna f--- with me. I will f---ing end your f--ing life."
