I've always kept my hate for the Clams and Santa Clara under lock and key. Super shy about it.

I'm really impressed by how well and how fast the Rams remade their roster after going all-in to win that SB. It was one of the best retool/rebuild jobs I've seen in recent memory. They traded away a lot of draft capital for that run, lost Aaron Donald to retirement, lost pretty much their whole receiving corp, maxed out their CAP, etc, etc...

A worse run franchise could have dived towards the bottom for a few years, and then spent years more in purgatory as non-SB contenders. To the contrary, they had only one losing year after that (5-12 the year after winning the SB in 2021), made the playoffs the following season in 2023, and then came a couple of plays away from returning to the SB last year.

It's hard to admit this as they're now our chief rivals for the division this year, but they've been an impressively run franchise.

I think I'd like to see the Rams beat the 9ers, drop them to 3-2. We've already lost to the 9ers, so I guess that favors us. Cards *should* beat the Titans, which will get them to 3-2. The Bucs are going to be a real test for us. I give us a slight edge, and hope we get to 4-1. I think it's going to come down to the Rams and our Hawks in the West. But we'll have our chance. We still get to play them straight up twice.

I agree. Another thing that could have changed the game, but at the end you don’t play the refs. You play the opponent in all three phases, not just two. More had to be done with the unit in general, not just the punter and kicker.

When vs if McCaffrey or Williams goes down, it’s probably over. It is just a matter of time with McCaffrey considering he’s the lead receiver. You had your usual third round multiple comp picks and didn’t select Skattebo who would have solved your aging Juczyzyk and/or McCaffrey problems.
