IF the games actually mattered, they would have shown up plenty. After a 17-1 run, I would think M's fans actually know that.Whoever it may be, the M's should be well rested since they didn't even bother to show up against the Dodgers this weekend.
Yeah I think we would have played harder if we won the first game, but we would have had to sweep them to make a difference and that would have taken a lot of bulletsIF the games actually mattered, they would have shown up plenty. After a 17-1 run, I would think M's fans actually know that.
True their pitching has been great. We swept them at home earlier In the year if that means anythingNeed Detroit to get their finger out their ass. Cleveland are red hot and a scary team to play right now
I don't think there's any advantage. It's more of an opportunity to rest players. Which the M's needed. The bye didn't hurt the Seahawks in 13 and 14. If Ms are 100% healthy they should beat either team they are better than both agreedNot really sure it matters, we are better than both and have HFA. Guardians are historically one of the worst offensive teams to make the playoffs. Detroit nearly had a historical collapse but just barely held on.
I think the only way we lose to either team is we are very rusty with the layoff, which I do think is real. Stats show that teams coming off the bye don’t have much of an advantage.
Wishful thinking. Garver will be on the roster. Not sure they need 3 catchers for the playoffs and Ford isn't hitting that well. Strange we don't have a thread speculating on who makes the playoff roster already. When do they typically announce their play off rosters including bullpen? I doubt it will matter as cal will catch all the games but with Harry Ford playing recently will they even bother including mitch garver as backup catcher or is he likely done as a mariners now?
THought the ALDS was a 5 game series? Am I wrong or did they change that while I wasn't looking? (Wouldn't be the first time)4-2 vs. Cleveland
4-2 vs. Detroit
Just sayin
