The Mariners broke my heart too many times in years past to follow them. They're over .500 in late August, and in position for a Wild Card spot. Isn't it about time for them to go on an 8-game losing streak?

Damn. You went full Debbie.
More like Howard. Howard Historian. Tell me this year it will be different, because... ?? Starting pitching? Great bullpen? Better hitting coach and hitters that don't go from .250 to .150 in July and August? Mariner Moose dude is a better good luck charm? Also, it's almost September, and the Mariners are still in contention for BOTH the Division and the Wildcard. The typical Mariners formula is to pull even or within a game of the division in JULY, tease us a little, and THEN go on an 8-game losing streak.

All I want for Christmas is for the Ms to retake first in the AL West on or before September 28. Couple of our pitchers need to lock in a little better.

Then don't watch. Nobody is forcing you. It's that simple. We're ALL aware of their past. No need to announce how much you think they suck and how they will choke. You just sound like someone who WANTS them to fail, so you can pump your chest out and say "see, I told you!"
The season is a rollercoaster, for ALL teams, welcome to baseball. 28 games left, and they currently are holding a playoff spot. People are excited, Oly must put a stop to it!!!!

Have a Snickers bar, suck it up and pull for your team. Well, that's IF they're your team.
FFS, this place sometimes. Geezus

Brash has been real sketchy of late. And Munoz too heart stopping for me of late as well. I keep coming back to it. We needed another quality bullpen arm. Speier's been looking good, though.

Anyway...heart attack Munoz time approaching.

Tough loss. Shouldn't have been that way.

Kirby with a gem, 2 runs over 7 complete. Back to Mariners pitching. Too bad the bullpen flopped. Brash really shaky, and Munoz not at his best and some bad luck sealed our fate.

4 run first was nice. Shutout the rest of the game was not. Gotta score in more than one inning.

Munoz has been rather sketchy lately and seemed to get away with it, but, tonight it caught up with him. Wonder what the problem is.. tired perhaps? too bad, if the Indians win this series. we just let them back into the WC hunt.
