Not enough of this kind of game today. 
It takes a Vargas to make us start to worry with a 10 run game. Geez, kid, throw strikes! Walks and hit batters is no way to go.
Cal doesn't like taking bows, his teammates had to push him to go out and tip his helmet to the crowd.
Cal had the big blows, but a lot of traffic on base to day and a few of my favorite kind of hit: RBI singles.
Nice to see Gilbert back to form. If the whole rotation can get back to what they were last season, we should be good. Need the hitters to be a bit more consistant, though. A week with 3 runs or less and then an 11 run day is kind of maddening.
