He could be a STAR player, especially after a couple of years to get up to “NFL” speed.

Hard not to be excited based on what we’ve seen so far.

My prayer for him is to stay healthy, IMO injury is the only thing that will hold him back.

Not only does he have the physical ability, he’s smart, and that only adds to his ceiling/potential.

GoHawks.

He definitely looks good. He learns from his mistakes. Maybe John CAN draft OL after all....

I think this system is fit for Bradford. He might be better than average this year and if that happens our oline should be in good shape.

I think a power scheme was a better fit. I use the word "was" because Bradford seems to be making a concerted effort to transform himself into a viable outside zone guard. His feet have improved. His mental recognition of what the defense is doing seems to have improved. However, he does need to improve his 3 point stance. Zabel's 3 point stance is what Anthony needs to replicate. Also, Bradford's stamina will not be fully measured until the forth quarter of a regular season game.

We'll see as the season unfolds.

Imagine if we had a RG of his caliber…
I think Cabeldue can be a dominant player at RG

Cabeldue had a terrific RAS rating along with pro/combine numbers. But, his college film revealed why he didn't go earlier in the draft. His pad level was higher than his fellow starting college linemen. He's got serious work to do in improving his pad level and knee bend. That's going to take some time and persistence to develop.

If ya want to see a text book 3 point stance, check out Zabel's film. It's a beautiful sight.

You mean drafting actual OL, instead of DL and converting them? Who the hell does that?

I think the pressure got to John this draft given the fact he hasn’t been able to piece together an even league average O Line in nearly a decade. Couple that with Pete trying to get cute every single god damn draft (Penny, Eskridge, trading down) they finally went with the consensus, stood pat, and drafted the best player available at the position of dire need.

Fans, media pundits, and social media were calling for Zabel leading up to the draft. I honestly believe the organization took that into consideration. I honestly thought they would trade back and take Emmanwori with their first pick. Glad they didn’t and glad they got both.
