Awesome! I lived there from '08-'16 and went every year. Even went down in I would say 2003? I have dozens of autographs but can't read 90% of them now...lol. I do have Wakamatsu's. Got Greg Halman's before his tragic death. Nice kid.
I was at the practice field when Sweeney was razzing a rookie 1B. The kid had no clue what a rototiller was, and Sweeney made sure everyone knew it.
The nicest guy was Mike Morse. My wife, daughter and I were the last ones by the fields and we were just walking around enjoying the day. We thought all the players were gone then we heard a gate clink. Out came Morse. He walked right up to us and just started chatting. We told him Griffey had just signed to come back, and he hadn't heard yet. he was so excited. he says, "Maybe I can get a pair of his cleats form him now". He was serious. He walked the entire way back with us to the clubhouse just asking us questions like we were neighbors. Never forgotten that.
