I think the QB candidates this year were selected in the draft very near to what their order of success will be. BUT when you consider a guy like Milroe who has athletic gifts surpassing those of his classmates there is always the possibility that he could be the pick of the litter.

I think sanders is going to play. All the spectacle aside I think he is a competitor who loves football and when you hear stories about his teammates loving him it contradicts the narrative of his entitled attitude. I bet he comes to play

There is a legitimate chance Sanders doesn't make the Browns 53.
My guess is the Sanders selection was more of a business decision. So far Sanders leads all rookies in jersey sales he probably sticks around at least for his rookie season

I do think Jimmy Haslam is a lot like Jerry Jones he always wants to be the center of attention

If Shedeur Sanders develops into a Mahomes, all GM/HC eat crow.

If his ceiling is someone like a Geno Smith in pro-bowl years, all GM/HC were right to pass on him in this draft. Here's why, all GM/HC have job security issues, none of them need a Deion running his mouth on EVERY decision they will make, encensored, uncontrolled. Russell Wilson listened to his own QB coach more than the team's QB coach and OC, Wilson's private coach seldom made media noise. Shedeur's? Louder than ownership/HC/GM.

In this draft, all GM/HC put money on Shedeur will likely be a Geno than a Mahomes.

If Joe Montana, Steve Young, Troy Aikman, Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, began their careers with the Browns, they’d all probably fail as well.

The Cleveland Browns versus the New England Patriots, in developing QBs and winning, hmmm, tough call….lol

If I’m a Browns fan, the only jersey I’m considering is Jim Brown.

I highly doubt they all would fail, maybe Aikman and Young but
the other two? Quick release and smart would do well for sure.
