As soon as I saw that stupid swag, I wanted him to drop out of the 1st. Add that to MEion telling teams he won't allow his son to play there etc. Too easy to laugh at the whole thing today. Meanwhile, we have a kid who goes late 1st, and he was hugging every single draft pick after they got picked. He did it the entire night. A big difference between grateful and entitled.

What’s sad to me is, I think the kid can actually play.

But let’s be honest…these new generations are different. Guys showing up with $100’s of thousands in jewelry, Armani suits…could’ve done without Zabels fkng tractor cartoon (ffs)…shitted on us still.

I actually really appreciated Zabel’s pieces…he was humble, thankful, reflective…

I’m not saying it’s bad to ‘look good’ or confident but, how many players put their foot in their mouth by claiming they’re going to come in day one and dominate? It’s the NFL young man. Grown folks business.

Shedeur has been humbled a bit. Deion has always been flashy…everyone’s not Deion though…

Even so…part of me still wants him to do well. At my age, I can’t get into the ‘hate’…hoping a guy does bad because I don’t care for the way he dresses….or care for his dad…or any of the 73739826301 reasons.

Shedeur will be ‘humbled’ soon enough. When he’s trying to navigate the pocket with 300+ pound monsters that run 4.8’s at him and his receivers are covered by guys like Sauce Gardner, Surtain, Dejean, etc….that big talk will go away.

Right?

Sweet Jesus - that whole thing was a monument to himself.

Deon Sanders was a historic talent, and, reportedly had a split approach to his football and off-field persona. His son didn't seem to have the same historic talent or the ability to split.

It gets better, apparently, Shedeur had a custom draft room built for him.

And because he put on a concert for his friends & family, this guys thinks he's a class act. He's joking, right?

All ownerships, front offices, and coaching staff are secretly questioning if they are ready to coach this mega STAR. If the answer is yes, they questioned again on their readiness for the Star's father.

Gee Scott put it perfectly. He called Deion the most "football dad" ever. Has to control everything. How many teams want that mess?
Well, here we are......not a single team took him in the 1st round.
Him and his dad seem more concerned with their "brand" than being a team guy who teams would love to have under center.
He went 13-11, he went 1-7 vs. ranked teams. He has talent, but certainly not 1st round talent.
Tip of the cap to all the teams in the NFL who won't let MEion control their decisions. That's not how it works, MEion.

Well the expression of living precariously thru ones children certainly applies here, Deion misses being relevant.

PLEASE NO..We don’t need a sideshow!!!

He cares more about the bling and the camera than being a great football player.

Seriously, where is this dude going to go? Cleveland is set up nice for next year when the QB class will be really good, so it seems like a wasted pic for them. Could he actually drop out of the second round too? Pitt would be logical, but they don't have a 2nd rounder. 😜
